Dreaming Of Jupiter release their new track ‘High Up’ this month. This is a song that represents every colour on our spectrum, collectivity, support, unity and human understanding.

Zoë and Dave, met while working in a Dublin music store and quickly began to write their own songs. They soon realised that in order to move in the creative direction that was calling to them, there was still a missing piece. Meanwhile Sam, who was working in the same store at the time, was looking for a project that felt right. Sam was passionate about drumming and percussion, and interested in experimenting with electronic textures - just what Zoë and Dave hoped to find. When the three members met for the first time, the chemistry was instantaneous. They each found their missing piece, and the rest is history. After a period of working hard, creating sonic textures, deep grooves and pop infused hooks, the band began to perform, learning their craft both on stage and off, refining a sound that has since become the signature of Dreaming Of Jupiter.

In early 2018, Dreaming Of Jupiter released ‘Right Kind Of Love’, an upbeat anthem written in support of the rights of the LGBTQ community and to promote equality and love amongst all people. The song received critical acclaim from the likes of the BBC and Clash Magazine, and announced to the world that ‘Dreaming Of Jupiter’ are brewing up a storm.

As the Summer drew to a close, Dreaming Of Jupiter released their debut EP ‘Fading’. Themes of love, loss, grief, memory, self-worth, sexuality and solace weaved through the four track EP while exploring textures, colours and soundscapes taking the listener on an emotional journey from beginning to end.

The EP was launched on November 29th with a high energy live concert to a sold out Button Factory. The colourful soundscapes, infectious grooves, spoken word and a mix of English and Spanish lyrics became a unique, electric and explosive show, accompanied by strong visuals and atmospheric lighting.

After a busy period of writing and recording new songs, the band are currently working hard on new material. ‘Beyond A Vibe’, the band’s first single of the year creatively captures the anticipation and excitement that arises when moving into a new decade. New sounds, new feelings and new VIBES! ‘Beyond A Vibe’ beautifully blends the intricacies of pop hits with the delicate details of truly artistic songwriting to find a balance rarely heard in modern music.

‘High Up’, the second single of the year is an upbeat contemporary Summer tune with a mean groove. Catchy hooks and a positive high energy chorus expresses longing and anticipation for things we took for granted to return. This track is sure to resonate with anyone who has lived through a lockdown. (That’s you!)
