LET’S TALK ABOUT WORKING WITH SYNC AGENTS, MUSIC LIBRARIES, MUSIC HOUSES, LABELS AND PUBLISHERS

Sync Agents, Music Libraries, Sync Executives at labels and publishers and Custom Music Houses are some of the most important people and companies in music for media. They are the trusted resources music supervisors, ad agencies, music coordinators and others looking for music for their productions rely on to find, create, and license music.  And for artists, producers, and the administrators of music catalogues, working with them is one of the best ways you can connect to opportunities to create and license your music.  Their networks and expertise in the industry can make the difference to your getting a deal. And even if you do your own outreach and deals, working with them can greatly increase your chances of success.  This panel features some key agents, music houses, library, label and publishing executives who will discuss their work, how they act as a bridge between people with music and people looking for music, their business models and how you can work with them.

SSE ARTIST KATIE BOECK FEATURED ON THE RADIO SHOW "AIR-CONDITIONED"

SSE artist Katie Boeck can be heard today for one month with her song “Over Again” featured on the Dec. 29th edition of “Air-Conditioned” hosted by Rick Clark on WYXR-FM. Big thanks to Rick for the shoutout!

https://wyxr.org/air-conditioned/

I’ve been deep diving into the literate from-the-heart music of John Darnielle and his evolving band The Mountain Goats, as well as Dirty Projectors, who never cease to amaze me with their utterly alive brilliance. This episode of Air-Conditioned is going to shine that special Air-Conditioned love light on their music. Also in the mix, author Zora Neale Hurston, The Clientele, Jason Faulkner, Peter Gabriel and Fiona Apple’s brutal Brett Kavanaugh-inspired throw down. We also have a smidge of The Beatles, Björk, Katie Boeck, Radiohead, Rosemary & Garlic, Helena Deland and Japan’s tricot, one of the only band’s I learned that can transport me, while receiving major dental surgery.

Sooooo …. You may ask, “Where can I hear this?” Well just click on (or copy and paste) either of the links at the beginning or end of this post and it’ll take you to the Air-Conditioned webpage where the latest episode and a handful of recent episodes can be streamed anytime.

Remember, this episode is available to hear at 9AM CST, Friday, December 29th. You don’t have to only check it out at the time it airs, if your schedule doesn’t permit. It’ll be available to hear for the following month along with the previous three episodes. If you use this link before this show’s airing, you will get last week’s show, which was actually pretty good, too. As always, thanks for listening and the good feedback.
